232nd River Exploration Programme | 4 July 2026

by haramakers

In this session, we welcomed APU Community Engagement (ACE) once again to our programme. Together with 14 students, we successfully removed over 138 kg of waste from the river.

Many of them were so determined to do their best in removing trash from the river that we found ourselves reminding them to take care of their backs while lifting heavy items. Their dedication and teamwork were truly inspiring.

The waste collected included:
– Plastic: 55.03 kg
– Fabric: 31.21 kg
– Metal / Tin / Aluminium: 10.26 kg
– Glass / Ceramic: 0.504 kg
– E-waste: 10.23 kg
– Masks / Diapers: 3.72 kg
– Mixed waste: 27.17 kg

Special thanks to our new assistant today, Joey, who led the group throughout the session.

Every effort counts.
