River Exploration #230 l 20 Jun 2026 l Sg. Keroh

by haramakers

We welcomed the team from ZUS COFFEE® to join us for a river exploration session.

Together, we collected 91.998 kg of waste from the river:

• Fabric — 38.030 kg
• Plastic — 30.366 kg
• Mixed waste — 15.038 kg
• Diapers — 4.168 kg
• Glass/Ceramic — 2.378 kg
• E-waste — 1.156 kg
• Metal — 0.862 kg

After 230 river sessions, we’ve learned that river pollution is not a problem that can be solved through clean-ups alone.

Every bag of trash removed helps us understand a bigger story, how our consumption patterns, waste management systems, and everyday decisions impact our waterways. Clean-ups are not the solution; they are a way to make the problem visible.

We’re grateful to the ZUS Coffee team for taking the time to get their hands dirty, ask difficult questions, and learn more about the realities facing our rivers.

We welcome collaborations with companies that are interested in going long term partnerships, organisations that want to better understand waste, support long-term environmental efforts, and explore their role in reducing pollution at the source.

Because the goal isn’t just cleaner rivers today. It’s creating fewer reasons for rivers to be polluted tomorrow.
