Empowering Communities, Enabling Sustainability
Rethinking Waste. Reclaiming Opportunity.
Every piece of plastic reflects how we consume, discard, and decide to act.
At Hara Makers, we work with lower-income communities to give discarded plastic a second life, not because upcycling solves pollution, but because waste already exists and communities deserve practical ways to engage with it.

Our Approach
We go beyond financial aid by offering comprehensive training in sewing and enabling participants to craft high-quality, commercial-standard items and empowering them with valuable skills.

What We Do
Hara Makers operates through a connected, intentional approach that brings together people, communities, and companies to manage plastic responsibly, and create meaningful, lasting impact.

Corporate Buy-Back Programme
Through our Corporate Buy-Back Programme, we collect post-consumer plastic waste, upcycle it through community-based production, and return the finished products to your organisation.

A Community Movement
Our workshops bring together women, volunteers, and environmental advocates who believe in doing what we can, where we are. Each product reflects the care, effort, and skills invested.
