Join us every Saturday to help clean our rivers. It’s more than just picking up trash, it’s about protecting the environment, learning together, and creating positive change in our community. The Sungai Keroh River Exploration Workshop is part of our ongoing environmental education programme, designed to connect the public with the real condition of our local rivers.
Through hands-on experience, participants will:
* Learn about river health and waste management,
* Understand the challenges of irresponsible waste disposal, and
* Contribute directly to cleaner waterways and stronger communities.

* Time: 8:00 AM – 10:00 AM
* Meeting Point: Sungai Keroh @ KTM Segambut (next to KTM Segambut Station)
What to Bring & Wear
Drinking water – stay hydrated!
Comfortable clothes – sportswear or quick-dry material for ease of movement.
Socks – wear socks inside your boots to protect your feet from rubbing or cuts. Bring an extra pair in case you get wet.
Hat or cap – for sun protection (after 8:30 AM).
Mosquito repellent – optional, but helpful.
Slippers – optional, for after cleanup.
Safety and Regulations
* Participants must be 7 years old or above. Children under 16 should be accompanied by an adult.
* Adhere to all guidance from our coordinators to ensure your safety and a successful clean-up.
Before & During Cleanup
* Avoid entering the river if you have open cuts or wounds.
* The riverbed can be rocky and slippery — move carefully.
* Stay along the riverside; do not cross to the opposite bank, especially if water flow is strong.
* Place collected trash on the riverbank (concrete area).
* Do not open or pour out liquids from sealed bottles.
* If you feel itchiness or dizziness, inform a facilitator and exit the river immediately.
For corporate or private group bookings, exclusive event slots are available with a customized program that includes enhanced environmental education, community engagement, meaningful awareness-sharing sessions, and a special upcycled gift from our community artisans. Please note that pricing may differ from public individual sessions, as private bookings offer a more tailored experience and individual sessions are subject to a minimum group size.
