Chee Lee Yoon and Hung Bee Ling are co-founders of Hara Makers, an upcycling initiative intended to address poverty in urban areas. This initiative which emerged during the pandemic, works with refugees and the B40 community to develop vocational skills in upcycling and recycling plastic waste. Hara Makers hopes to provide a pathway to empower these groups towards financial stability and a more sustainable future.
