Our Approach

Our Approach:Community-Based Reuse in Practice

01

Hands-on Training

We provide women with practical skills to transform post-consumer plastic into functional products. From sorting and preparation to production techniques, participants gain confidence and competence in every step.

02

Fair-Wage, Dignified Work

Participants earn fair wages while building experience in small-scale production. They also develop skills in quality control, teamwork, and project management — supporting long-term livelihood opportunities.

03

Functional Products for Everyday Use

The plastics we work with are transformed into durable, practical items designed for repeated use. Extending material life reduces reliance on virgin resources and challenges single-use consumption.

04

Advancing the Reuse Movement

Reuse is a shared responsibility between communities, businesses, and consumers. By keeping materials in circulation and managing plastic responsibly, we demonstrate practical alternatives to single-use systems.

05

Responsible Action, Not False Solutions

While reuse and upcycling create value, they do not solve the plastic crisis alone. Meaningful change requires coordination across production, collection, and policy systems, and our work exists alongside these broader efforts.

Collaboration Across Communities and Businesses

This approach underpins all our work, from corporate buy-back programmes and bulk production, to workshops, clean-ups, and community education. We partner with businesses and individuals who share responsibility for materials in circulation.
